Welcome to scrunchie world! My name is amanda, and I am a doula and member of DONA International. As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to have a positive and supported birth experience. That's why I am passionate about providing expecting parents with the knowledge, resources, and emotional support they need to feel confident and comfortable during this special time.

My journey to becoming a doula began after the birth of my own daughter in May of 2022. I was lucky to have amazing nurses and a supportive lactation consultant who helped me through the challenges of new motherhood. These experiences inspired me to become a doula and provide other new moms with the same encouraging support that I received.

As the Scrunchie Doula, I believe that every woman has the right to make the decisions that are best for her and her family, regardless of whether they are the typical or expected choices. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to birth, and I am committed to providing each of my clients with personalized information, resources, and support based on their unique needs and preferences.

Whether you're planning a c-section, an epidural from the start, a fully natural birth, or anything in between, my job as your doula is not to judge or push my views, but to provide you with the tools and support you need to make informed decisions and have a positive birth experience. I am here to be your #1 supporter and advocate, and I look forward to working with you to create the birth experience you desire.
